Scariolo adds two players as Spain battles injuries before EuroBasket

Sergio Scariolo is facing serious challenges in finalizing Spain’s roster for EuroBasket, as the national team has been hit by a string of injuries. The latest setback is the withdrawal of Alberto Abalde, who left the training camp yesterday. His absence adds to that of Eli Ndiaye, already ruled out for the summer tournament.
Additionally, Darío Brizuela, Mario Saint-Supéry, Alberto Díaz, and Santi Aldama are also dealing with physical issues. The situation has forced head coach Scariolo to call up two more players from Spain’s B team to continue with preparations.
This morning, the Spanish Basketball Federation officially announced that Lucas Langarita and Álvaro Cárdenas will join the training camp.
Updated preliminary roster for Spain:
Santi Aldama, Darío Brizuela, Álvaro Cárdenas, Alberto Díaz, Guillem Ferrando, Willy Hernangómez, Juancho Hernangómez, Lucas Langarita, Sergio de Larrea, Xabi López-Arostegui, Isaac Nogués, Joel Parra, Jaime Pradilla, Josep Puerto, Mario Saint-Supéry, Yankuba Sima, Santi Yusta.
