EuroBasket 2025: Serbia Put On a Show in Debut, Crush Estonia by 34

No contest in Riga: Serbia rolled past Estonia with a dominant 98–64 win. The +34 margin could’ve been even worse. It was a game never in doubt, as coach Svetislav Pesic’s squad set the tone immediately with a 32–12 run in the first quarter. With 2:25 remaining in the third period, Serbia reached its biggest lead at 83–39. Estonia managed to limit the damage slightly with a 20–12 run to close the game.
A standout performance from Jokic and his teammates: the Denver Nuggets star — whose franchise owner flew to Riga to watch the game — posted 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists in just 23 minutes. Top scorer honors went to Nikola Jovic, who tallied 18 points and 6 assists in only 16 minutes. Aleksa Avramovic also hit double figures with 13 points and 3 assists, while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 11 points and 7 assists. On the other side, Estonia finished just 26-of-72 from the field, with Henri Drell (11 points) and Konontsuk (10 points) as the only ones in double digits.
