Is Andrea Calzavara heading to Olimpia Milano? Apu Udine have issued a clear denial. The club rejected the rumors circulating in recent hours about a possible transfer of the player to the Milan-based team. “These are rumors that appeared on social media, without any foundation. The 2001-born point guard is under a multi-year contract and is part of the club’s technical plans. Moreover, as also stated today by his agent Riccardo Sbezzi to Il Messaggero Veneto, ‘Andrea feels good in Udine and he is staying where he is.’”

The club reiterated its trust in the player and its intention to continue building together, aiming to fully develop his growth while reaffirming its confidence in him. Apu Udine also invited its fans to rely exclusively on official communications for updates regarding the club and its players, stressing that unfounded news does not help the team’s stability and working environment.

Born in 2001, Calzavara is averaging 8.8 points per game in his first season in LegaBasket Serie A, along with 2.8 assists and 2.7 rebounds in 19.6 minutes. A product of the Robur et Fides Varese youth system, he previously stood out in Serie A2 with New Basket Brindisi in the 2024/25 season, averaging 11.8 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Last summer, Apu Udine decided to invest in him, confirming their belief in his potential.
