Croatia has officially announced a preliminary 24‑man roster ahead of the upcoming FIBA International Window, during which the team will face world and European champions Germany in a two‑game series. Head coach Tomislav Mijatović has included Dario Šarić among the call‑ups, with the forward currently without an NBA contract and expected to return from the United States soon. Luka Šamanić has also been confirmed after his recent performances, while Mario Hezonja’s availability for the opening game in Zagreb remains uncertain due to Real Madrid’s EuroLeague matchup against Bayern Munich scheduled just 24 hours earlier. The extended roster features many of the key figures of Croatian basketball, from established veterans to rising prospects, with names such as Badžim, Božić, Branković, Marić, Prkačin and Jaleen Smith forming a group rich in talent and physicality.

Croatia will make its debut on Friday, February 28 in Zagreb before traveling to Bonn to face Germany on Sunday, March 2 — a high‑level test that will help measure the team’s ambitions and current form. Mijatović and his staff will begin preparations this Sunday, aiming to quickly build chemistry and intensity against one of the most complete national teams on the international stage. The FIBA Window will also provide an opportunity to evaluate Šarić’s return and assess the condition of players competing across various European leagues, at a crucial moment for defining identity and rotations ahead of the next official commitments.
