Former Timberwolves Jesse Edwards signed with Baskonia
Baskonia is strengthening its roster for the final stretch of the season. The Spanish club has announced the signing of Jesse Edwards.
The Dutch center, born in 2000, played in the NCAA for five years between Syracuse and West Virginia. In his first professional season, he appeared in 34 NBA G League games with the Iowa Wolves (averaging 11.9 points and 7.6 rebounds), and also made two NBA appearances with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
This past summer he moved to Australia, signing with Melbourne United. In the NBL he averaged 13.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 22.3 minutes per game, shooting 64.2% from the field.
