The Italian Basketball Federations announced that at the end of a meeting held today in Rome between FIP president Giovanni Petrucci and coach Meo Sacchetti, the contract between the parties has been terminated.
Sacchetti has been in charge since September 2017 for a total of 50 games on the Azzurri bench.
Gianmarco Pozzecco will be the new head coach of Italy. The official announcement is expected soon.
