Through his social media channels, Danilo Gallinari delivered a passionate message ahead of EuroBasket, which kicks off tomorrow with Italy’s opener against Greece. “It’s time. EuroBasket. Our journey is about to begin. My last European Championship can’t be any different from the others: heart, mind, pride, and the drive to always raise the bar. Now only one thing matters: giving everything, together,” wrote Gallo. Born in 1988, this will be Gallinari’s final summer with the national team. After arriving late due to winning the Puerto Rican championship, he didn’t feature in any of Italy’s preparation games.
