Official: Sfairopoulos is no longer the head coach of Crvena Zvezda

It’s now official: Giannis Sfairopoulos is no longer the head coach of Crvena Zvezda.
“After a joint meeting between club president Željko Drčelić, general manager for the sports sector Milan Tomić, the club’s management, and the now former coach Giannis Sfairopoulos, it was decided that Mr. Sfairopoulos will no longer serve as the head coach of Crvena Zvezda’s first team.
This decision was made with a single goal shared by both parties: that, at this moment, it represents the best choice for the good of the club.

The club wishes to thank coach Giannis Sfairopoulos for everything he has done on the Crvena Zvezda bench, for the gentlemanly manner in which he represented the club both on and off the court, and for his contribution to the team’s growth. We wish him good luck, health, and professional success in the continuation of his career.
With the trophies he has won and the award he received as the most successful coach of our red-and-white family (the Crvena Zvezda Sports Society), Giannis Sfairopoulos will forever remain an indelible part of our club’s history.”
