Official - Efes reunites with Coach Ataman
Anadolu Efes Istanbul has a new man in charge after appointing Coach Ergin Ataman as the new head of bench on Monday. Ataman, age 51, replaces Velimir Perasovic as head coach on a deal through the end of the 2018-19 season. Efes relieved Perasovic of his duties on Saturday. Efes sits in last place in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings with a 3-9 record. This marks Ataman’s third stint with the club; he previously coached Efes from 1999 to 2001 and from 2008 and 2010.
