Butler University Announces the Arrival of Kevin Ndzie, Who Has Spent Recent Years in Italy

Kevin Ndzie will continue his basketball career at Butler University. Overnight, the U.S. college officially announced his arrival to join the Bulldogs for the 2025/26 season. Originally from Cameroon, Ndzie played for his national team in the Afrobasket qualifiers earlier in 2025. A big man trained in Italy, he spent last season playing between Brindisi and Urania Milano, averaging 3.5 points and 4.0 rebounds during the 2024/25 season, with a season-high of 16 points against Cantù on January 24.
“Playing in Europe and representing his national team in international competitions has given him a lot of experience, which he’ll now bring to our program,” said head coach Thad Matta. “His size really stands out, and he’s going to make a significant impact in our conference. We’re excited to have him as a Bulldog.”
