Official: Dubai Basketball announces former Warriors Taran Armstrong
Dubai Basketball has officially announced the signing of Taran Armstrong. The Australian point guard has agreed to a 1+1 contract, which includes an NBA opt-out clause for next season. Armstrong joins the team after a stint under a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors, where he primarily played for their G League affiliate, the Santa Cruz Warriors.
He arrives in the EuroLeague following an impressive season in the Australian NBL with the Cairns Taipans, his second with the club, where in 2024–25 he averaged 17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. In the G League, over 11 games late in the 2024–25 campaign, he posted 11.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per contest. Armstrong also took part in the 2025 NBA Summer League with Golden State.
