EuroLeague - Pianigiani in Athens wants to see a mentally tough team

Coach Simone Pianigiani talked at length about the upcoming EuroLeague game in Athens, against Panathinaikos, a team who’s still unbeaten at home. “We face another powerhouse, in a great atmposphere so for us this is another mountain to climb during trying times. They have a lot of size and athleticism and they can mantain those traits during the entire games because tei depth is unquestionable. While offensively we have similar numbers, they can use one of the best defensive team in the league. They try to force opponents into their bigs in order to generate steals and go out on the break. We’ll have to be mentally tough, move the ball offensively, match their intensity on defense and be aggressive on the boards. If we do that, it’s going to be easier to recover our offensive skills”.
