Valencia Basket re-sign Jean Montero, set to make his debut in the EuroLeague
Valencia Basket locks up Jean Montero with a new contract through the end of the 2027–28 season. The club has signed the 21-year-old to a three-year deal to keep him long-term after a strong EuroCup campaign, where he averaged 13.2 points, 5.3 assists, and 1.7 steals over 17 games. He led the Spanish team to the semifinals and was named the 2024–25 EuroCup Rising Star as well as being selected to the All-EuroCup First Team.
Montero also stood out in domestic league play, averaging 15.9 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.7 rebounds over 38 games in Spain. The Dominican Republic native will make his EuroLeague debut next season.
