Utah Jazz waive Johnny Juzang before contract becomes guaranteed
The Utah Jazz have decided to waive Johnny Juzang from the roster. His $2.8 million contract for the upcoming season would have become guaranteed if he had not been released by today.
Juzang averaged 8.9 points in 19.8 minutes per game during the 2024–25 season, along with 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists. The 24-year-old signed a four-year, $11.4 million deal with the Jazz last summer, but only the first year was guaranteed.
A product of UCLA, Juzang is expected to draw interest on the market and will explore his options in free agency.
