Maccabi Tel Aviv and Jaylen Hoard extend their contract

Maccabi Tel Aviv and Jaylen Hoard have renewed their contract. The 26-year-old French forward has signed a new three-year deal after averaging 14.7 points and 5.0 rebounds over 24 games last season, though he was limited by injuries in the second half of the year.
“Jaylen Hoard became a cornerstone for Maccabi last season, and we’re all happy he’s staying with us,” said head coach Oded Kattash. “We saw exceptional qualities in him on both ends of the court, as well as off the court. He integrated perfectly into the club and the team’s playing system, and continuing with him is very important for us.”
Hoard, a Wake Forest University product, had two brief stints in the NBA before moving to Europe in 2022 with Hapoel Tel Aviv. He joined Maccabi in the summer of 2024.
