After two seasons Jason Burnell officially leaves Banco di Sardegna Sassari. "Two years of fights, energy and strenght: you arrived in Sardinia after your rookie season and grew up game by game. Good luck, JB! Our memories will last forever!", the club wrote on its social channels.
Burnell played 58 regular season games with Sassari. In 2021/22 he had some ups and downs, but in the playoffs he was decisive in the series won against Brescia. He averaged almost 16 points in the 4 games played against Germani. Among the teams interested in him there is the Umana Reyer Venezia.
