Hapoel Tel Aviv Makes Surprise Move by Signing Bulgarian Scorer Borislav Mladenov

In a surprising and intriguing move, Hapoel Tel Aviv has announced the signing of Borislav Mladenov on a three-year deal. The 25-year-old Bulgarian guard/forward was the top scorer in the Bulgarian league last season, averaging 21.2 points, along with 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.4 blocks per game while playing for Levski Lukoil.

 

Mladenov also made his debut with the Bulgarian national team, where he impressed during the FIBA World Cup pre-qualifiers, putting up averages of 18.8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game.
In addition to Mladenov, Hapoel Tel Aviv has also confirmed the addition of Sandy Cohen, who will initially join the team for preseason, with an option to stay for the entire season.
