Danilo Gallinari: “I’d Like to Play One Last Season in the NBA”

On the podcast A Cresta Alta, Danilo Gallinari not only spoke about Olimpia Milano—clarifying that he’s never received a call from the club—but also reiterated his desire to end his career with one final NBA season. “A possible return to the NBA? I hope so, I always do,” said Gallinari. “I don’t think, realistically, that anyone really followed the season I had in Puerto Rico. If I were to return, it would be as a veteran presence, kind of like insurance—I wouldn’t play much, but I’d be there to help as a veteran. But yes, I’d definitely like to play one last year in the NBA.” Gallinari has played 777 regular-season games in the NBA. His most recent stint was with the Milwaukee Bucks.
