Sengun headlines strong Türkiye 12-man roster for FIBA EuroBasket 2025

Alperen Sengun will lead Türkiye to FIBA EuroBasket 2025, after they announced their final 12-man roster. Sengun will have a lot of high-quality talent on the roster with veteran Cedi Osman, Omer Yurtseven, and Shane Larkin also included. Türkiye head to EuroBasket having won their last three preparation games, with the latest being a win over Montenegro after successes over Czechia and Lithuania. They had a tricky start with defeats to Lithuania and Germany, but found their connection with three straight wins to build momentum heading into the tournament, as they chase down a spot on the podium.
They boast a team good enough to challenge, which would be welcomed, as the last time they were in the Quarter-Finals was in 2009, giving this group plenty of motivation to make themselves a part of the contenders group chat in 2025.
Türkiye will be housed in Group A in Riga, with their first matchup coming against the hosts, Latvia, on August 27 at 16:00 CET. They will go on to face Czechia, Portugal, Estonia, and Serbia
