Sergio Scariolo Announces Spain’s Final 12-Man Roster for EuroBasket 2025

After the friendly loss to Germany, which came just 10 seconds before the end of overtime, coach Sergio Scariolo officially announced the 12-player roster for EuroBasket 2025. The Brescia-born coach faced many absences, having to deal with withdrawals—such as Lorenzo Brown’s—and several injuries. Alberto Diaz was the last player cut. Along with him, the young players Lucas Langarita, Isaac Nogues, Guillem Ferrando, and Alvaro Cardenas, who had been added over the weeks due to various physical issues, were also excluded. "The team is in the best possible shape, considering everything that has happened. We have to focus on those who are here, not on those who, unfortunately, cannot be," Scariolo commented.
