Aleksej Nikolic returns to his homeland after a career spent abroad: at the age of 29, the point guard has signed a contract for next season with Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, as announced by the club. Nikolic spent 2023/24 with Chalon in France, averaging 12.8 points per game with 5.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 28.7 minutes. In the player's past three experiences in Italy: in 2019/20 in Treviso, in 2022/23 between Sassari and Brescia.
