Monaco, Papagiannis' agent denies on payments delayed

Yesterday, reports from France suggested that some AS Monaco Basket players had boycotted training last week due to delayed payments.
Specifically, the players mentioned were Nick Calathes, Donatas Motiejunas, and Georgios Papagiannis. However, the agent of the latter denied the claims on X: "It is completely false that Big Papa experienced any delayed payments from AS Monaco Basket. We need to uphold higher standards when spreading such news, especially when the information can easily be verified with us." Meanwhile, Monaco is set to play Game 2 against ASVEL tonight, after losing the first game by 20 points. This comes in the wake of coach Spanoulis’ outburst, while Mike James remains suspended.
