NCAA - Davide Moretti saluta e ringrazia Texas Tech

Le parole che Davide Moretti ha voluto condividere sui suoi canali social per salutare i tifosi e l’università di Texas Tech:

“Red Raider nation, there are so many things I would like to say.. First off I want to say that it was a pleasure to play in front of the best crowd in the nation for the last three years. You guys pushed me to be a better player, a great role model and most importantly you gave me a reason to leave it all out on the floor, every single game. I have never been more committed to a program than I was to Texas Tech, it was an honor to represent one of the elite programs in college basketball on and off the court. I have memories that will last a lifetime and teammates that I consider brothers. I am sure this past year would have been another one to remember if only we could have played till the end.

It has been the toughest decision of my life, trust me.. but I thought this could be a great opportunity for me to pursue my dream. I hope you all will understand. Lastly I wanted to thank Coach Beard and all the great coaches that I had the pleasure to be coached by, you changed my life forever, you pushed me to be the best version of myself and I wouldn’t be the player and the person I am today without you all. You all are my second family and I truly mean it. I will always be part of that Elite8 team, member of that BigXII champion team and member of the first team to ever reach the Final Four, but most importantly I will always be a Red Raider ️ Thank you from the bottom of my heart” Moro #25

“Red Raider nation, ci sono così tante cose che vorrei dire .. Prima di tutto, voglio dire che è stato un piacere giocare di fronte al miglior pubblico della nazione negli ultimi tre anni. Ragazzi, mi avete spinto a diventare un giocatore migliore, un grande modello di ruolo e, cosa più importante, mi avete dato un motivo per dare tutto sul campo, in ogni singola partita. Non sono mai stato più impegnato in un programma di quanto non fossi in Texas Tech, è stato un onore rappresentare uno dei programmi d'élite nel basket universitario dentro e fuori dal campo. Ho ricordi che dureranno una vita e compagni di squadra che considero fratelli. Sono sicuro che l'anno scorso sarebbe stato un altro da ricordare se solo avessimo potuto giocare fino alla fine.

È stata la decisione più difficile della mia vita, credetemi .. ma ho pensato che potesse essere una grande opportunità per perseguire il mio sogno. Spero che capirete tutti. Infine, volevo ringraziare Coach Beard e tutti i grandi allenatori di cui ho avuto il piacere di essere allenato, mi hai cambiato la vita per sempre, mi hai spinto a essere la migliore versione di me stesso e non sarei il giocatore e la persona che ho oggi sono senza tutti voi. Siete tutti la mia seconda famiglia e lo intendo davvero. Farò sempre parte di quel team Elite8, membro di quel team campione Big XII e membro della prima squadra che abbia mai raggiunto le Final Four, ma soprattutto sarò sempre un Red Raider ️ Grazie dal fondo del mio cuore ”Moro # 25
