Virtus Bologna, David McCormack Joins for Pre-Season

Despite recent rumors, it's now confirmed that David McCormack will join Virtus Bologna. The former Olimpia Milano big man is expected to arrive in the city in the coming days and will take part in pre-season training with the VNere. The American is currently a free agent after splitting last season between Milan and Berlin, and he will look to impress in hopes of earning a contract for the upcoming season. His first experience in Italy with Olimpia lasted only 4 Serie A games and 6 EuroLeague appearances before being cut by coach Ettore Messina. In contrast, his stint in Berlin was more substantial, featuring in 22 EuroLeague games, where he averaged 8.4 points and 4.6 rebounds.
