LBA - Damien Inglis will play for Orlandina Basket

Orlandina Basket tabs the French forward Damien Inglis (6’8, class of 1995), who spent last season in the NBA G-League with the Westchester Knicks, scoring 12.9 points with 45.4% on field goals and 72.5% on free throws plus 6.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game.

Inglis has represented his country in several youth teams International competitions (U16 European Championship 1st-Team in 2011) and grew up with the French Federal Basketball Center, where several great World basketball personalities have played before (including NBA Champions Tony Parker and Boris Diaw). Damien has played there from 2009 to 2013, and he went with his team to the Nike International Junior Tournament 2013 (a youth competition by Euroleague Basketball) scoring 15.6 points, 7.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.1 blocks in 26.2 minutes per game, being named in the tournament’s 1st-Team.

The French player has been selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the first pick of the second round in the 2014 NBA Draft. He did not played in his first professional season due to a ankle injury, but eventually started his career in the 2015-16 campaign playing 20 NBA Regular season games with the Bucks (10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 22 minutes in his best performance, winning over the Memphis Grizzlies).

Inglis has also played in the NBA G-League for two season: 3 games with the Canton Charges and 13 games with the Westchester Knicks in 2015-16 season, 39 games with the Westchester Knicks in the 2016-17 as an affiliate player of the New York Knicks.
