Jan Vesely leaves Czech Republic: "I'm physically and mentally exhausted"
2017 EuroLeague champion Jan Vesely has announced that He will not be in EuroBasket 2017 this year.
“I had a long, demanding and successful season with Fenerbahce and I am physically and mentally exhausted,” Vesely adds. “At the end of July I got married, something very important to me and I feel like I cannot get ready for a challenging tournament like the EuroBasket in two weeks. The risk of injury and bad shape ahead of the new season might affect me negatively”.
