BIO: the rise of the latest years is with no doubt based on one of the most spectacular and athletic duo play-pivot of Europe, Satoransky e Vesely; they are the guarantee that, also in EuroBasket 2017, the Czech team will not be a simple appearance even if there are many absences: there will be in fact the lack of the other three players of the quintet that have well impressed two years ago: Pumprla, Schilb e Benda. So it can be a great occasion for the “spanish” Auda (Manresa) and the big-man of 217cm Balvin (Gran Canaria) to earn more minutes with the national team. Between many young players (but also with the veteran Jiri Welsch) choosen by coach Ginzburg there are two players that we have already seen in Italy: Thomas Kyzlink ed Adam Pechachek; it seems to be possible to pass the first phase, while going on in would be a great challenge
QUALIFIED: with the seventh place in EuroBasket 2015, eliminated in the quarter finals by Serbia. Last year they have played the pre-olympic tournament in Belgrado, when they were again eliminated by the Serbian team
EYES ON: Tomas Satoransky; from being a star in Europe to being at the end of the rotation in the Washington Wizards. Not always the big step starts best, but because of that we expect a great EuroBasket by him; two years ago he played very well (14 points, 7,5 assists e 5 rebounds), this year we expect even more by him for the numerous absences
